Description
We will travel by plane, early in the morning.Trujillo is the capital city of La Libertad province. You can enjoy its hot and sunny weather and great food, especially fish and seafood. We will discover the tresaures of the Chimú Culture, visiting the archeological sites where we find political, religious and cultural tresaures. Additionally we will have the chance to spend some time in Huanchaco Beach, where traditional Totora boats are still in use.

Continuing with our trip over northern precolombine cultures, we will met Mochica Culture, in the person of Lady of Cao, a woman who ruled this region as a political leader and a priest, who was mummified and preserved until today. In the evening, we will be travelling to Chiclayo, where we will spend the night.

Once in Chiclayo, we can find the most important archeological achivement in Peru and America: it is the Lord of Sipán tomb. Found in a Huaca (ceremonial Mochica pyramid), today, these tresaures and ceremonial offerings are kept in the Royal Tombs Museum in Lambayeque. In this day we will visit both places: huaca and Museum. In the evening we will be taking the plane to get to overnight in Lima.
